My PPP (Poly Painting Practice)



Here is my first skin poly painted sculpt. I was just practicing to after watching a few tutorials. I am happy with this because it didnt suck as hard as i thought but it still not where I want to be. I looked at a few tutorials to use Subsurface scatter easy skin in Max. Hopefully when I finish using it the skin will look even better than this. Peaces!! *_* \\_//

Da neu stuph!!!








Here is the sculpt of the model I plan on using for my animation. I was looking for a good polypainting source but I couldnt find one I didnt have to pay for. So I brought a zbrush character sculpting book. While It was on the way I created and am still working on the character below. All my characters so far have focused on anatomy. I want this one to be more along the lines of fantasy. I havent given him a name yet but he is the product of a chemical disaster. He is wearing a chemical suit torn with his robotic arm exposed. He is wearing a gas mask but the gas masked has become a tool of his mutation. Kinda like the helghast from Killzone (Helghast is awesome). He is a mixtured between the tyrant from resident evil, helghast, and the one dude that attached a chainsaw to his arm to fight zombies. Except this guy has a mechanical arm instead of a chainsaw.


The concept above I didnt put much detail in because I had the image in my head and I just wanted to get the general idea on paper. Now that I have the genreal idea down I will detail each piece of the character.

PM2SWMU



This is my base mesh for my next project, Code named PM2SWMU or "put me to sleep and wake me up". In an older post of my blog I had a picture that said this at the bottom. I always wanted to do a 3d concept of it and now Im going to do it. There are a few things little things I have to do to the mesh before taking it into Zbrush but for the most part this is it

GARGOYLE CHARACTER ROTATION





Here are some screenshots of the 4 armed gargoyle. I poured so much energy into this model and I wished I could have poured more into it. Unfortunately trying to keep up with classes and writing papers altered my focus. I do really love this model but the next one will be better.

3D Model

This is the model I am going to be working on for the contest that is being held a UB. It was a pain trying to figure how I could alter his anatomy to make it look realistic. This is him in his most simplest form without wings, spikes and all the other things that make a character look cool.

Weapon concept (The Halo)

This is a weapon I am working on for a character I plan to create after I finish making the gargoyle. This is just a picture of how the weapon is summoned and a look at it from the side view.

This is what the character will look like from the front and side view. I am going to redo the side of the character because he looks too slim. Also I plan on drawing the character from the back.

This are drawing I did to create each individual part of the character as I was coming up with the concept. After coming up with all the concept pieces I put them all together and made the character up top. (I gotta give this character a name)

Here is the 3rd concept of the character. This was actually the first picture I drew of the character. I started with the head then created a body and drew armor on it. I kept draing armor on it to see which pieces look the coolest while still allowing the characters parts to freely move.
